J.J. Hardy drove in the tying run with a single in the seventh inning, then hit a go-ahead single in a four-run ninth yesterday as the Orioles beat the host Blue Jays, 13-9, after blowing a seven-run lead.

Jimmy Paredes hit a three-run homer and Chris Davis added a solo shot as the Orioles used 16 hits to improve to 13-4 since June 4.

Red Sox 13, Royals 2: David Ortiz moved past Stan Musial and Willie Stargell into 28th place on the career home run list with No. 476 as visiting Boston set a season high for runs.

Indians 1, Rays 0: Roberto Perez scored the winning run on David Murphy's bases-loaded sacrifice fly in the ninth for host Cleveland.

White Sox 3, Rangers 2: Gordon Beckham led off the bottom of the 11th inning with a home run.

A's 3, Angels 2: Scott Kazmir pitched into the eighth inning for host Oakland. Albert Pujols hit his AL-leading 21st homer and tied Tim Salmon's team record with 13 home runs in June.

Astros 6, Mariners 2: Colby Rasmus and George Springer homered to power visiting Houston.

Phillies 9, Cardinals 2: Adam Morgan, winless in the minors this year, won his major-league debut for host Philadelphia. Morgan, 25, allowed one run and six hits in 5 2/3 innings. He snapped a 25-game stretch without a win for a Phillies starter dating to May 23.

Nationals 9, Pirates 2: Bryce Harper and Yunel Escobar homered during a nine-run first inning for host Washington.

Dodgers 10, Giants 2: Yasmani Grandal homered twice and Adrian Gonzalez and Justin Turner also went deep after host Los Angeles knocked two-time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum out of the game in the second inning.

All four homers came against Yusmeiro Petit during a span of 15 batters after he relieved Lincecum. In Petit's 19 previous appearances this season, he had allowed five home runs in 38 innings. The Dodgers lead the National League with 91 homers.

Cubs 8, Twins 0: Jake Arrieta pitched a four-hitter and Dexter Fowler hit a grand slam for visiting Chicago.

Reds 5, Marlins 2: Todd Frazier and Jay Bruce homered for host Cincinnati.

Rockies 10, Brewers 4: Charlie Blackmon drove in four runs for host Colorado.
