Jake Jacobsen scored the winning goal with 2:34 left in the fourth quarter Tuesday as Floyd overcame a three-goal deficit for a 7-6 win over Patchogue-Medford in Suffolk Division I boys lacrosse. Seth Newberg scored his fourth goal of the game with 8:18 left for Floyd (2-4).

West Islip 10, Sachem East 5: Jon Reese had three goals and won five of eight faceoffs to lead West Islip (5-0) in Division I.

Whitman 16, Connetquot 6: Mike Chimenti had six goals and Evan Zakow one goal and six assists for Whitman (5-1) in Division I.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Herricks 9, Mepham 8: Claire Lanzo had two goals, including a free-position score with eight seconds left in the second, for Herricks (6-1) in Nassau Conference 3B.

Roslyn 10, Bethpage 9: Kayla Rebetti's goal with 1:50 left lifted Roslyn (5-2) in Conference 3B. Christine Valderama's goal with 3:01 left tied it at 9 for Roslyn. Freshman Hanna Rosenblum scored her first varsity goal.

Mount Sinai 8, Shoreham-Wading River 5: Julia Michaels had 15 saves for Mount Sinai (5-2) in Suffolk Division II. Danielle Della Rocca had three goals and one assist.

BOYS TENNIS

Bay Shore 4, East Islip 3:Miles Bromfield won the deciding fourth singles match, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, for Bay Shore (5-0) in Suffolk League III.

Whitman 4, Half Hollow Hills West 3:Troy Haas won, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3, in third singles for Whitman (4-1) in League I.

BOYS TRACK

Uniondale 86.5, Oceanside 55, Freeport 32.5: Davon Henry won the 100 meters (11.1), the 200 (22.7) and ran the lead leg for the winning 4 x 100 relay team (45.1) for Uniondale (6-2). Oceanside's Brian Benesch won the 1,600 (4:45) and was on the winning 4 x 800 team.

Amityville 98, Rocky Point 42: Kyle Saunders won the discus (150 feet, 3 inches) for Amityville (2-0). Vincent Jackson won the 800 in 2:03 for the Warriors.

GIRLS TRACK

Garden City 90, Bellmore JFK 59, Roslyn 51, Jericho 11: Taylor Hennig took the 400 (57.5), 200 (25.5), and ran the second leg of the winning 4 x 100 relay (52.3) for Garden City (8-0).Wheatley 90, Carle Place 68: Ariel Fieldman won the long jump in a school-record 16 feet, 4 inches, the high jump (4-10) and 100 hurdles (16.2) for Wheatley (7-1).
