Jane Goodall to speak at Adelphi University

World renowned primatologist and humanitarian Jane Goodall will detail her work with endangered species and the planet at Adelphi University on Monday.

Goodall's work revolves around inspiring action on behalf of endangered species, particularly the chimpanzee, and encouraging people to do their part to make the world a better place for people, animals and the environment.

She will deliver remarks about “Making A Difference” in a program before a sold-out crowd of more than 1,500 including environmental enthusiasts, high school students, teachers, fans of her books and the Adelphi University community.

Goodall’s creed includes four factors for environmental change: the human brain, the human spirit, the resilience of nature and the determination of young people.

The Jane Goodall Institute, which she established in 1977, is a wildlife conservation organization dedicated to the welfare of all living things by engaging the environmentally dedicated youth around the world.

Goodall will also discuss JGI projects, research and educational programs.
