Jets bring in 5-time All-Pro Justin Tucker for kicking tryout

The Jets held a kicking tryout, reportedly hosting Justin Tucker, Michael Badgley and Joshua Karty at their facility on Wednesday.
Tucker hasn’t kicked in the NFL since 2024 after being accused of sexual misconduct by multiple massage therapists. The NFL suspended the former Raven 10 games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. Tucker was never charged criminally or sued civilly.
A five-time first-team All-Pro, Tucker served his suspension and was reinstated last November. He’s also tried out for the Saints and Colts but hasn’t been signed.
Badgley has kicked for six teams, including the Colts and Bills last season. Karty spent parts of two seasons with the Rams.
The Jets' kicking situation has been messy. Jason Sanders beat out Cade York for the job but Sanders missed an extra point and field goal in Friday’s preseason finale against the Giants.
The Jets released Sanders on Monday after claiming Blake Grupe off waivers. Sanders was later signed to the Jets practice squad.
