It would be hard to think of a government or economic-development job on Long Island that Jim Morgo hasn't held. And he's about to get another one. Morgo will become a paid, part-time "economic adviser specialist" to the Long Island Association. His salary has not been disclosed.

Morgo, of Bayport, is chairman of Suffolk County's Industrial Development Agency. He has been chief executive of the Long Island Housing Partnership, Brookhaven Town's economic development coordinator, Suffolk County's chief deputy executive under Steve Levy, and a Suffolk legislator.
