When the 36-year-old Roslyn pediatrician started her “Red Light, Green Light, Eat Right!” program three years ago to combat childhood obesity, she didn’t have the funds for old-school advertising, but immediately found Twitter to be an effective marketing tool. She tweets nutritional tips and answers questions on how to live healthier.
