Johnson scores 9 goals to lead Mepham
Senior Lauren Johnson had a career-high 10 points on nine goals and an assist for Mepham (5-1) in a 15-11 win over Bellmore JFK in non-league girls lacrosse. Cristina Olson added three goals and two assists and Kathryn DeLauter made 15 saves. Lauren Janelli added two goals and four assists and Amanda Johansen scored three goals. Eastport-South Manor 18, Glenn 12: Tara Gerstacker scored a season-high nine goals with two assists for Eastport-South Manor (4-0) in Division II. Dene DeMartino added three goals, Brittany McCabe had two goals and an assist and Samantha Giacolone made 14 saves. Mary-Kate Sivilli led Glenn (1-2) with five goals and three assists.
Babylon 10, East Hampton 5: Devyn Antolini scored three goals with two assists for Babylon (2-2) in Division II. Shelby Fredericks added two goals and three assists. Smithtown West 9, Half Hollow Hills East 3: Matt Schultz scored three straight goals in the third quarter to give Smithtown West (3-1) a 7-2 lead in Division I.
