Justin Weiss, a senior at New Hyde Park Memorial High School, is well-respected amongst his peers and teachers. His artwork entitled Age of Decay, was displayed in the Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington as part of the Long Island’s Best: Young Artists at the Heckscher exhibit. In 2008, Justin’s artwork, Odysseus and the Scylla, was displayed in Washington, D.C in the Capitol Building as a Congressional Competition winner.
Also an avid writer, Justin won the Creative Communications Young Writer’s contest in 2008. Justin also plays on the football and wrestling teams, and was selected for the Nassau County All-County band.
He is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Art Honor Society, and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Justin is interested in writing and graphic design as possible areas of study at the college level.
