Celebrity Row at Madison Square Garden surely will be filled with stars for Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs on Monday night, the first Finals game at the Garden this century.
Well, two fans could have a chance to join them courtside.
Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. announced Tuesday that the Knicks will auction off two Celebrity Row seats for Game 3 to benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit organization that works with MSG to positively impact the lives of children facing hardships.
The fundraiser will begin at noon Thursday and will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday with details at knicks.com/celebrityrowauction.
“The Garden of Dreams Foundation is the most important work that we do at the Madison Square Garden Family of Companies, and we are proud that this Foundation has made a lasting impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands of youth across the tri-state area,” Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan said in a statement.
“Offering Celebrity Row seats for the NBA Finals at The Garden presents an unforgettable opportunity for fans, while supporting an organization that truly changes lives for the better.”
The Garden of Dreams Foundation works with 30 partner organizations in the tri-state area to help children who face challenges such as homelessness, poverty, illness and foster care.
Last week, the Knicks announced they would donate 250 tickets for Game 3 and 4 (and Game 6, if necessary) to underprivileged youth in New York City affiliated with the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
