"Aliens Love Panta Claus" (Aladdin; $16.99) by Claire Freedman, illustrated by Ben Cort: This hilarious tale from the creators of "Aliens Love Underpants" and "Dinosaurs Love Underpants" follows the aliens during the holiday season. The aliens love Christmas and Santa, so when Santa's sleigh breaks down on Christmas Eve, the aliens come to his rescue.
Best for ages 4 to 7
"Hanukkah: A Counting Book" (Scholastic; $6.99) by Emily Sper: Readers will learn about Hanukkah, as well as how to count all eight nights in Hebrew. Pronunciation guides help kids say the words, and die-cuts reveal the candles as they are lit each night.

"Hanukkah Hop!"
