KIDS STUFF / iPad apps
Captain Wallace's Alphabet Expedition iPad App ($2.99) takes children on a tour of the Alphabet Zoo. The game teaches young kids their letters and about animals, too. It's also pretty to look at, with a cute design.
Disney FamilyFun Magazine (April issue is free as an iPad app; after that, single issues will be $2.99, year subscriptions will be $6.99) brings its content to life through interactive slide shows, videos, 360-degree views, bookmarking features, social media sharing tools and more.
MathBoard ($4.99) has quizzes for students of every age and skill level. Students can take timed quizzes or stop and save a quiz to return to later. Wrong answers are reviewable with both the incorrect and correct answer visible (and equation displayed). You can even generate a quiz from just the ones you got wrong.
