Some choices include "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs," "Aliens in the Attic" and "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs." Go to clearviewcinemas.com for local theaters. Regal Cinemas (regalcinemas .com) and National Amusements (nationalamusements.com) offer similar programs. (Clearview is a subsidiary of Cablevision, which owns Newsday.)

KidsBowlFree.com lets children younger than 15 bowl two free games every day of the summer. Parents do not have to bowl. Log on to kidsbowlfree.com to register and select a participating local bowling alley; every Sunday morning, you'll receive e-mail coupons valid for two free games for each child. Brookhaven National Laboratory offers free tours of laboratory facilities, science shows and activities for families from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on summer Sundays.
