I like to jump rope. Jumping rope is a good exercise, and it is really fun. Because you're using all the major muscle groups of your body, both upper and lower, you will burn a great amount of fat and calories while jumping rope. You could burn up to 1,000 calories per hour. That's more calories than any other exercise in existence. You can jump for 15 to 20 minutes, and still burn lots of fat and help improve your overall fitness level.

There are many different tricks that you can do. Jump rope fitness videos help people of every age. These can be found on youtube.com, at your library or can be bought online. You also can take a jump rope class to learn tricks. Some kids get so good at jump roping that they form a team and compete against other kids.

If you want to have fun and get great exercise, you should consider forming a jump rope club at your school. All you need is a good jump rope, some friends and feet!
