Students and staff of the Kings Park School District will attempt Saturday to fill a bus with enough food to feed needy families in the community for the holidays.

During the Kings Park Board of Education meeting earlier this week, Superintendent of Schools Susan Agruso said this year there are 90 families in need.

Donated food can be brought to the Key Food Shopping Center on Indian Head Road from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday.

Students will place donated items in the bus.

Paper products, baby food, diapers, cleaning supplies, shampoo and soap also are appreciated.

For more information, or to volunteer, contact Judy Bishop at 631-269-3311.
