Kings owners agree to sale
The Maloof family has agreed to sell the Sacramento Kings to a Seattle group led by investor Chris Hansen, the league confirmed Monday. The deal is still pending a vote by the NBA Board of Governors.
A person familiar with the decision said Hansen's group will buy 65 percent of the franchise, which is valued at $525 million, move the team to Seattle and restore the SuperSonics name.
Bulls 95, Lakers 83: Kirk Hinrich had 22 points and eight assists for host Chicago. Steve Nash contributed 18 points and six assists and Pau Gasol had 15 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for the Lakers. Kobe Bryant had 16 points but shot 7-for-22.
Warriors 106, Clippers 99: Stephen Curry (28 points) made four three-pointers in the fourth quarter and Jarrett Jack had 18 points and 10 assists for host Golden State. Blake Griffin had 26 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists for the Clippers.
Pacers 82, Grizzlies 81: George Hill made a tiebreaking free throw with 1.4 seconds left for visiting Indiana.
Spurs 90, 76ers 85: Tim Duncan's 24 points and 17 rebounds led the visiting Spurs.
Hornets 114, Kings 105: Ryan Anderson led host New Orleans with 27 points.
Rockets 100, Bobcats 94: James Harden made 19 of 21 free throws and scored 29 points for visiting Houston.
Hawks 104, T-Wolves 96: Al Horford scored 28 points for host Atlanta.
Wizards 98, Blazers 95: Nene and Martell Webster scored 24 points each for visiting Washington. Nicolas Batum had 12 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds and Damian Lillard scored 18 points for the Trail Blazers.
Varejao out for season
Cavaliers starting center Anderson Varejao will miss the rest of the season after developing a blood clot in his lower right lung.
