Cleamons added to staff
The Knicks will add Phil Jackson's longtime assistant coach, Jim Cleamons, to Derek Fisher's staff, a league source said.
Cleamons played with Jackson on the Knicks in the late 1970s and was an assistant with him with the Bulls and the Lakers. Cleamons also coached Fisher during his two stints as a Lakers assistant and will be another voice to help teach the Knicks the triangle offense.
The Knicks already hired former Lakers coach Kurt Rambis to be their associate head coach.
Cleamons spent a little more than a season as the Mavericks' head coach from 1996-98 and went 28-70.

Manziel struggles
Johnny Manziel struggled to hit open receivers and added another gesture to his repertoire -- a middle finger apparently aimed at the opponents' bench -- in the Cleveland Browns' 24-23 loss to the host Washington Redskins last night.
Neither Manziel nor Brian Hoyer did much to claim the Browns' starting quarterback job.
Manziel completed 7 of 16 passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Hoyer went 2 for 6 for 16 yards. Both players' stats were padded by series against the Redskins' backups.
Cleveland coach Mike Pettine has said he plans to announce his regular season starter today.
