It's now 12 straight wins for the Knicks as they rallied to take Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Spurs in San Antonio.

As he has so many times before Jalen Brunson put the team on his back late with a huge fourth quarter (including the go-ahead corner three in the final two minutes) despite being knocked around in the first half by the Spurs' tough defense.

Our Barbara Barker was in San Antonio for Game 1 last night. She also was in San Antonio 27 years ago when the Knicks and Spurs met in the 1999 NBA Finals. But take it from her: a lot has changed since then. (And even more has changed since the Knicks last won it all in 1973.)

From LI to MSG, fans took in the atmosphere and excitement at watch parties and experienced a thriller among like-minded folk.

The Knicks are now three wins away from hoisting the Larry O'Brien Trophy — and receiving the hefty bonus that comes with it

It's hard to believe that is Karl-Anthony Towns' first NBA Finals, but the former No. 1 overall pick seems to understand the moment, the rare opportunity in front of him now.
