Kristen Doherty close to milestone

Sachem East guard Kristen Doherty is 39 points away from 2,000 career points. Doherty, in her fifth year on the varsity, will get a chance to achieve the milestone on Tuesday night at home against Floyd. If she doesn't get it then, the Flaming Arrows play at Commack on Friday.
