Kristen Polan drops 40 points

Westhampton junior Kristen Polan scored a career-high 40 points in a 60-51 win over Bayport-Blue Point Tuesday night. She scored 13 points in an 18-2 third quarter to give Westhampton a 44-39 lead. She had 15 field goals, one three-pointer, and hit seven free throws. She also added 12 rebounds. Her previous high this season was 23.
