Demi Moore has stayed silent following a resurgence of cyclical tabloid rumors about the state of her marriage, but husband Ashton Kutcher posted tweets Thursday that seemed to poke fun at the brouhaha.

First, the new "Two and a Half Men" star tweeted a link to a 1988 hit song by Public Enemy, titled "Don't Believe the Hype."

Several hours later, Kutcher posted the old saying about what happens when you assume something.

However, 23-year-old Sara Leal, with whom Kutcher purportedly cheated at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego over the weekend, has hired an attorney, according to RadarOnline.com.

The site reported that Hollywood lawyer Keith Davidson advised her to delete her social media accounts, which Leal did early this week.

Separate spokeswomen for Kutcher and Moore did not respond to requests for comment.
