Kyra Sedgwick looks back on Hamptons childhood

Kyra Sedgwick says the Hamptons is the spot for her favorite childhood memories, according to a recent issue of Hamptons magazine.

Sedgwick, 44, was featured as a born and raised New Yorker who spent her summers at the East End as a child.

Sedgwick says the happiest times for her were spending days at the Carlton Club and the East Hampton Girls Club. She swears the Georgica Beach is “still the most beautiful beach,” reports the magazine.

Sedgwick has been playing LAPD deputy police chief Brenda Johnson on TNT’s “The Closer” since 2005. She is also married to actor Kevin Bacon.
