Lindenhurst Village and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County are holding a seminar Saturday on yard recovery after superstorm Sandy.

The seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lindenhurst Rainbow Senior Center, 293 Buffalo Ave.

Among the topics that will be discussed are landscape concerns, storm damage issues and remedies, suggestions for salt and drought-tolerant plants, and how to save Eastern white pines. Residents will have the opportunity to discuss individual concerns following the presentation.

Residents are encouraged to sign up, as space is limited. To register, call Village Hall at 631-957-7500.
