At least 200 union members and supporters were picketing outside of the Ronkonkoma LIRR station on Sunday morning about 8.

They chanted “What do we want? Contracts! When do we want it? Now!” And “Whose power? Union power!”

One picketer said that members of all five striking railroad unions were present. They were sporting red or blue T-shirts, depending on their union membership, he said.

The workers wouldn’t speak with Newsday on the record because union reps weren’t present.
