Parents rallied again Tuesday night against the controversial Common Core curriculum and testing.

About 2,000 parents and educators filled Saxton Middle School to speak their minds on a variety of issues, including the high-stakes testing.

Tuesday's rally was co-sponsored by New York State United Teacher's Union. More than 1,000 people gathered at the LIU Post Campus in Brookville to rally for the same cause Monday night.

In December, Gov. Andrew Cuomo vetoed his own bill that would have delayed the use of test scores in teacher evaluations for two years. The move came after a state education report that showed 98 percent of New York State teachers were rated as effective.

Parents were notified that their children will not be penalized if they opt out of testing this spring.
