Lauren Lopresti doing OK
South Side senior Lauren Lopresti was resting comfortably at home on Saturday after a scary moment Friday in a 50-40 loss to Lynbrook. As the first quarter came to an end, Lopresti collapsed to the floor and was taken by ambulance to South Nassau hospital.
She was dehydrated and had a stomach virus, according to South Side athletic director Carol Roseto. Lopresti was released Friday night.
“She’s doing fine,” Roseto said. “She’s just very tired.”
