What a weak excuse you offered in your editorial about Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo taking the state whirlybird for a spin to his home in Westchester ["Guv flying the straight and narrow," Aug. 16].

Let's just admit that what the governor thinks is good for public employees and teachers isn't necessarily good for him. At an estimated $1,300 a trip, Cuomo has obviously decided to have his cake and eat it too, on the public dime.
