Letter: Don't limit lobster catch

After studying marine biology and a college career in environmental life science, I feel that instead of limiting size and season length and establishing quotas for lobster fishing, how about doing something that is positive and will work? ["LI lobstermen facing a 10% cut in catch," News, Nov. 11]
Why not try lobster farming, fish farming and seeding? Through artificial insemination and protection of the young, we can replenish our stock and bring back many jobs such as lobstermen, clammers, recreational and commercial fishermen.
