Letter: Get rid of 'Ground Zero' name

I agree with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg that the term "Ground Zero" should be retired ["Ground Zero's rebirth," News, Sept. 7]. His suggestion is to use the terms World Trade Center and the National September 11 Memorial and Museum.
My suggestion is to refer to the 16 acres as Freedom Park to mark the total area as a destination. The name could be appended to the name of any structure within the 16 acres. For example: the World Trade Center at Freedom Park; the National September 11 Memorial at Freedom Park; the National September 11 Museum at Freedom Park; and the Central Terminal at Freedom Park.
This naming approach provides a unified identity while retaining unique names for each individual structure.
