Letter: Help for families in debt

Regarding "Long Island needs new poverty cutoff" [Letters, Oct. 6], in our troubling economy today, the middle class are finding themselves in financial distress and unable to pay their bills. Our charity, Belief for Relief, provides monetary assistance to families who are facing debt they are unable to manage.
