While it is gratifying to see a handful of pension cheats arrested for their misdeeds ["Feds: $1B LIRR disability fraud," News, Oct. 28], I have to ask if the hundreds of retirees who are beneficiaries of this widespread fraud will also be brought to justice? Quite simply: I want my money back!
I was a daily Long Island Rail Road commuter for 13 years, and it seems like I've been a taxpayer forever. These people have been living a life of luxury on my dime. Charge them, arrest them, convict them, incarcerate them and take their assets. Put their pictures on the front page and hope it deters others from doing the same.
