Letter: LIRR's too cautious about storms

After Tropical Storm Irene, I have a suggestion for a new name for the Long Island Rail Road ["Hurricane Irene: Mass transit shuts down at noon," News, Aug. 27]. How about Goldilocks Railroad?
The motto: We don't run when it's too hot, and we don't run when it's too cold. It has to be just right.
