(Sung to the tune of "Silver Bells")

Oh Taubman, oh Taubman, go build your mall some place else ["Council delays review of mall," News, Dec. 7].

See the traffic, see the traffic up and down Robbins Lane.

If you lived in Syosset, it would drive you insane.

Look at Neiman Marcus, look at the food court all shiny and bright.

You say a mall would bring good-paying jobs -- minimum wage, is that right?

We have Walt Whitman, we have Broadway, we have Roosevelt Field.

How much more shopping can a Christan or Jew possibly do in a year?

Syosset don't want it, Syosset will not have it, so don't build your mall here.

So, Mr. Taubman, when will you get the message, after 17 years, it's quite clear.

Syosset don't want a mall, we don't need one, so don't build it here.

Philip A. Boscia, Syosset
