Letterman blackmailer gets new jobJoe Halderman, the former CBS News producer who was convicted of attempting to blackmail and extort David Letterman, has landed a job with the Discovery Networks' channel Investigation Discovery as a producer for "On the Case with Paula Zahn," Newsday's Verne Gay reports. "We have been impressed with Joe Halderman's professional accomplishments as an Emmy award-winning producer for 48 Hours and CBS News," Scott Weinberger, executive producer of "On the Case," said in a statement.
