A women’s health forum sponsored by State Sen. Kemp Hannon (R-Garden City) and originally scheduled for Monday night at the Levittown Public Library has been canceled due to the expected arrival of Hurricane Sandy on Long Island.

The event, which was set for 7 to 9 p.m., has not been rescheduled yet, officials said.

The event was expected to feature medical professionals from Nassau University Medical Center and Winthrop University Hospital speaking on many aspects of women’s health, from early teen years through late adulthood. For more information, visit www.kemphannon.com or call 516-739-1700.
