LI astronaut tweets from rocket train to Kennedy Space Center

Long Island astronaut and consummate tweeter Michael Massimino is at it again.

Massimino, of Floral Park, is sharing details all about his trip today on the train carrying solid rocket motors for final space shuttle launch later this year with his nearly 1.3 million followers.

Massimino (@astro_mike), who started at the Jacksonville railroad yard, has made it to the Kennedy Space Center.

In February, he relayed questions submitted by his followers to the crew of Endeavor, and even tweeted from space in 2009.
