Today's tip

"One thing that always strikes me while I'm on the first tee, serving as starter for the Havemeyer Invitational Tournament and watching the top amateur contestants, is the fact that each of them has a strong left hand grip. A strong left hand allows a good body move to square up the clubface instead of relying on flipping the hands to hit it straight. Make sure the heel pad of your left hand is on top of the grip and you'll be on your way to a more consistent swing."
