One of the Long Island communities devastated by Sandy is on the road to recovery with a helping hand from a local celebrity.

Dan Lauria, the man who played Kevin Arnold’s dad in the hit show “The Wonder Years,” teamed up with some Lindenhurst residents to aid in Sandy recovery.

‘Camp Bulldog’ is helping connect people in the area devastated by the storm.

The camp is set up in Lindenhurst, operates seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and provides residents with food, clothing and supplies.
