TRAFFIC AND TRANSIT

ST. JAMES. Steer clear of Woodlawn Avenue, where there are reportedly fallen power cables that have shut down traffic in both directions at Highway 25A/North Country Road.

LIRR. The 5:40 p.m. train from Penn Station due at Seaford at 6:30 p.m. is operating 14 minutes late after receiving a swap of equipment prior to departure.

WEATHER

Wednesday night will be partly cloudy, then clear with a low of 46 degrees and winds between 5 and 15 mph.
