Will you be out and about this Columbus Day weekend?

This afternoon the chance of rain on Long Island is 40 percent with a high of 61. But by tonight the chance rises to 90 percent with rainfull amounts near 0.8 inches possible and a low of 50.

The rain continues Saturday, with a 70 percent chance and a high of 61.

Clearing will take place Saturday evening, but the temperature will start to dip with a low of 45.
