TRAFFIC AND TRANSIT

WEST ISLIP: There is construction work on Robert Moses Causeway in both directions between exits 1 and 2 in Bay Shore.

ROSLYN: There is construction work on Route 25A in both directions between Bryant Avenue and Glen Cove Road in Greenvale.

LIRR: The Long Island Rail Road will be running eight extra trains Friday afternoon to accommodate commuters traveling home early in observance of the Jewish holiday. Extra trains from Penn Station will be provided on the Babylon, Port Jefferson, Port Washington and Far Rockaway branches.

PORT JEFFERSON STATION: There is long-term construction on Route 347 in both directions between Williams Street and Route 112.
