TRAFFIC AND TRANSIT

LIRR: The 4:34 train from Atlantic Terminal due to Ronkonkoma at 5:57 is operating 13 minutes late following police activity.

VALLEY STREAM: There is an accident blocking the left lane on the Southern State Parkway eastbound between Central Avenue and Fletcher Avenue.

LIE: There is an accident blocking the westbound right lane of the LIE at Exit 33.

WEATHER 

Tuesday night will be mostly cloudy in the evening, then clear and with low of 54 degrees.

WHAT TO WATCH

BOARD MEETING. Babylon Village trustees Tuesday will consider refunds for overpayment of taxes. The 8 p.m. board meeting will be at Village Hall, 153 W. Main St. Check reporter Nicholas Spangler’s Twitter updates @spanglernewsday.
