Patterson of Garden City has joined Cullen and Dykman in Garden City as partner focusing on software licensing, outsourcing and service agreements. He was a senior counsel for IT, operations and sourcing at GE Capital and associate general counsel at TIAA-CREF Trust Co., both in Manhattan.

Dennis R. Ketcham of East Hampton has joined Town & Country as a licensed sales agent in the East Hampton office. He was owner and operator of KEM Contracting in East Hampton.

EDUCATION

Farmingdale State College has announced two new staff members of its communications department.

Peter F. Crescenti of Huntington Station joins as a staff writer. He previously was director of public information at AAA New York in Garden City and is a freelance journalist.

Ru Jurow of Farmingville joins as graphic design manager. She previously was a visiting professor at the college's department of visual communications and is a freelance graphic designer.
