Joseph G. Perri of Plainview is one of nine banking professionals who were named to the State Charter Bank Advisory Board. He is the president and chief executive of Islandia-based Gold Coast Bank. Joseph G. Perri, of Plainview, is one of nine banking professionals who were named to the State Charter Bank Advisory Board. He is the president and chief executive of Islandia-based Gold Coast Bank. The board's mission is to advise the superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services on ways to promote the state chartered banking system through retaining existing state chartered banks and encouraging federally chartered banks to convert.

INSURANCE

Cook, Hall & Hyde announced two staff promotions.

Kimet Speed was promoted to vice president, commercial service. The Westhampton resident joined the insurance company in 2001 as a customer service representative and held the position of manager of commercial insurance service for the Melville and East Hampton offices before her promotion to vice president.

Linda M. Blowe, of East Hampton, was promoted to vice president, accounting, from accounting manager and has been with the firm for 15 years, starting as an accounting services representative.
