Robert Berkowitz has been named consulting relationship manager for the Long Island territory of Bellmore-based SBA Consulting, a provider of part-time and interim chief financial officers. He was most recently an interim chief financial officer at Cogswell Realty in Manhattan and lives in Floral Park.
EDUCATION
Susan Saab Fortney has joined the full-time faculty at Hofstra Law School in Hempstead as the new Howard Lichtenstein Distinguished Professor of Legal Ethics and director of the Institute for the Study of Legal Ethics. The Garden City resident was an interim dean at Texas Tech University School of Law since 2010.

John Governale of Plainview has joined Great Neck-based Community National Bank as first vice president in its commercial loan department. He was most recently first vice president for the commercial banking division at Amalgamated Bank in Manhattan.
