Dr. Timothy J. Vittorio has been appointed director of the Center for Advanced Cardiac Therapeutics at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. He previously served as associate director of the congestive heart failure program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan and is an assistant professor of medicine in cardiology at its School of Medicine. Michael J. Jones has joined Rivkin Radler as a partner in the insurance coverage and litigation practice group. Before joining the Uniondale-based law firm, Jones practiced at Cuyler Bank in Parsippany, N.J. The Ridgewood, N.J., resident will practice from Rivkin Radler's Hackensack office.

Eileen Minogue has been named executive director of Patient Airlift Services, a Farmingdale-based organization that arranges free air transportation for patients requiring critical, lifesaving medical care, diagnosis or transplantation. Minogue, a Massapequa Park resident, was promoted from director of operations. She has been with the nonprofit since its inception in 2010.
