BOARDS & ASSOCIATIONS
Marc Greene has been elected president of the New York State School Music Association. He is the director of choral activities at Baldwin High School and was an administrator for the arts in several Long Island school districts. He lives in Coram.

The Rev. Michael F. Smith has been elected to the board of directors of the Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. He is the pastor of the Shinnecock Presbyterian Church of Southampton. The Southampton resident is also chairman of the East End Minority Health Disparities Task Force run by Stony Brook University and a member of the Southampton Hospital board of directors.

FINANCE
John Bellontine of Huntington has joined The Principal Financial Group in Melville as a senior financial representative. The Huntington resident was an account executive at Fidelity Investments in Melville for 15 years.
