TECHNOLOGYJoe Adachi has been named chairman of Canon Information and Imaging Solutions, a new wholly-owned subsidiary of Canon U.S.A. in Lake Success. This role will be in addition to his duties as president and chief executive of Canon U.S.A. He is a Lake Success resident.
RESEARCHNPD Group, a Port Washington market research company, announced three appointments.
Amy Hyland was named president of the firm's U.S. fashion apparel business. The Port Washington resident previously headed the firm's U.S. toys business.
Juli Lennett of Plainview was named president of the U.S. toys business. She was an executive director of client development for toys and kids industry data service (KIDS).
Diane Nicholson, president of NPD's beauty business unit, will be taking on additional responsibility as president of NPD's U.S. fashion footwear and accessories units. She is a Port Washington resident.
