Long Islander Annie Park will represent the United States in June in the Curtis Cup, golf's top amateur international team competition for women. The Levittown resident and USC sophomore, who won the NCAA women's championship last season, was among eight players named Thursday by the U.S. Golf Association to play Great Britain and Ireland June 6-8 in St Louis.Four-way tie at Valspar

MEDIAESPN's Fowler to announce

prime-time college football

Chris Fowler is taking over play-by-play responsibilities for the marquee Saturday night college football game on ABC. ESPN announced Fowler had signed a nine-year contract extension through 2023.

Fowler will continue hosting "College GameDay" on Saturday mornings, then travel to the site of the prime-time game if it's in a different location.
