LI Toys for Tots drive starts today

Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano and the U.S. Marines will kick off the Long Island Toys for Tots Drive Tuesday at noon at the Coral House on Milburn Avenue in Baldwin.

More than 200 children in need will attend the ceremony along with civic, business, community and elected officials.

In addition, there will be a special presentation in memory of the presiding officer of the Nassau County Legislature, Peter Schmitt.
