This Thursday will mark Matthew Crosson's last stand.
The outgoing president of the Long Island Association, the region's largest business and civic organization, will host his final monthly breakfast meeting, in which he conducts interview chats with business or political figures.
At the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, Crosson will host former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, a Democrat, and former U.S. Sen. Alfonse D'Amato, a Republican.
Crosson announced in November that he is stepping down after 16 years as LIA president. He is to become president of the Greater Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce later this month.
Will Crosson offer any last words? Stay tuned.
